What is it about being single that makes people cringe? It amazes me when I see people desperately seeking other people to make them happy. It is as if their life is not complete unless they have a significant other to fill in the void. Why is this?

Being single gives you the freedom to be yourself without having any kind of limitations. You can express yourself in any way you desire. There is plenty of time down the road to meet someone and enter into a blissful relationship. For now, why not enjoy the freedom of just being free?

Take my sister for example. She would say: “I am married and although I love my husband dearly, sometimes I look back and remember the times when I lived alone and had the freedom to just be me. Now, I have to share the remote, the washer and dryer and the car.” She complains, I just smile for not being in her situation.
